What is Pawnbroking?
Traditionally, a pawnbroker’s is a shop where loans are given against items of value, with the items being kept by the pawnbroker for the duration of the loan. Then, the item could be collected once the loan had been repaid, or retained and sold on by the broker if the loan was not repaid.
